Thanks for checking out the LoneStarGuardian.  Our goal is to provide a social media outlet for each and every unit that serves under Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston and Sector Corpus Christi.

Many times, Coasties take part in events that don’t necessarily get many headlines but deserve recognition nonetheless.  We hope to help unit commanding officers, officers in charge and public affairs officers shed light on the stories that deserve a little attention.  So if you know someone who made an impact in the community, does a great job every day, or did something incredible, make sure to let us or your unit PAO know.

Even if it’s only a few sentences and a picture, send the story to us, or your unit PAO, and we will see what we can do to help you get the word out.

Basically, if there is a story you think is worth telling – and you have a few pictures to prove it – let us know and we will help you tell it.
